2. Description of Service
AutThech™ provides a digital platform to help auto repair shops record, manage, and document vehicle inspection processes ('Inspections').
3. User Accounts
- Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- Responsibility: The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and for all activities that occur under their account.
- Authorized Users: The Shop is responsible for the conduct of all its employees, technicians, or agents who use the Service.
4. User (Shop) Responsibilities
- Professional Judgment: The User acknowledges that AutThech™ is a documentation and support tool. It does not replace the knowledge, experience, and professional judgment of a qualified mechanic.
- Data Accuracy: The User is solely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, and completeness of all information, diagnoses, photos, and recommendations entered into the Application.
- Final Responsibility: The final responsibility for any diagnosis, repair, service, or recommendation provided to a vehicle owner rests exclusively with the Shop.
- Legal Compliance: The User agrees to use the Application in accordance with all applicable industry laws, regulations, and standards in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable federal laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
5. Intellectual Property
- Our Property: AutThech™ and all its software, trademarks, and content (excluding User data) are the property of [Your Company Name].
- Your Data: You (the Shop) retain ownership of all inspection and customer data you enter into the Application ('User Data').
- License to Us: You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, process, and display your User Data solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, at our discretion, if you materially breach these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided 'as is'. We offer no guarantees that the Service will be error-free or be uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutThech™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including incorrect diagnoses or loss of business.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable federal laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
